How Long Does Korean Skincare Take to Arrive in Australia?
Most Australian orders arrive in 3 to 7 business days with standard shipping, or 1 to 3 with express. That is because the stock is already in Sydney — nothing is ordered from Korea after you check out. If a retailer quotes two to three weeks, the parcel is coming from overseas once you have paid.

When does my order actually leave?
The same business day if your payment clears by 2pm Sydney time; after that, the next business day. Transit time starts from dispatch, not from checkout — so an order placed on a Tuesday morning is generally in the network that day, and a Saturday order goes out Monday.
This is the part that varies most between retailers and the part worth comparing. A three-day handling time added to a five-day transit time is an eight-day delivery, however the shipping page describes it.
Why do some K-beauty stores take three weeks?
Because they do not hold the stock. When you order, they order — either from a Korean wholesaler or direct from the brand — and it ships to you from there.
That model is not dishonest and it is often cheaper. But it has consequences beyond speed: nobody has physically inspected what you are getting, returns are slower and more awkward, and if something arrives damaged the resolution runs through an overseas supplier rather than a local one.
The practical test is dispatch time, not delivery time. Same-day or next-day dispatch means the stock is here.
How do I track my order?
You get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. If it has not arrived within an hour or two of the dispatch confirmation, check your spam folder before assuming something went wrong.
Tracking sometimes shows nothing for the first 12 to 24 hours — that is the carrier's scanning schedule rather than a problem with your parcel.
What can slow delivery down?
A few predictable things:
- Remote and regional addresses. Add a couple of days beyond the standard window for anything outside a capital city.
- Public holidays. Business days exclude them, and state holidays differ across Australia.
- Peak periods. Late November through December is slower across every carrier.
- Address errors. A missing unit number is the single most common cause of a parcel going astray.
Is express worth paying for?
Usually only if you have a deadline. The realistic gain is two to four business days.
Two cases where it makes sense: you have run out of a step in your routine and skipping it would set you back, or the order is a gift with a date attached. Otherwise standard is free on orders of $55 or more and the difference rarely matters for skincare, which you should be buying before you run out rather than after.

What if something arrives damaged?
Email us with a photo. We will replace it or refund you in full and cover the return postage.
Change-of-mind returns are a separate thing: 30 days, unopened and unused, in original packaging. And to be clear about the distinction, your rights under Australian Consumer Law for faulty, unsafe or misdescribed goods are not limited by that 30-day window — it applies to changing your mind, not to something being wrong with the product.
