PDRN

PDRN — polydeoxyribonucleotide — came out of Korean wound-healing medicine before it ever reached a serum bottle. It is a DNA fragment, usually salmon-derived, and it works on repair rather than resurfacing: calming inflammation, supporting the barrier, and building firmness slowly.

That makes it unusual among the ingredients people chase. It does not exfoliate, sting or purge, so it layers happily with almost anything and suits reactive skin that cannot tolerate acids or retinal.

It is the single biggest thing in K-beauty right now, and Medicube, Anua and VT built entire ranges on it. Start with a serum or the pink toner pads.
