Sunscreens

Australian UV is not a European problem, and Australian sunscreen habits should not be European either. The reason Korean SPF has taken over is simple: it is pleasant enough to wear every single day, and daily is the only thing that actually matters.

No white cast, no heavy film, no pilling under makeup. Lightweight chemical filters for everyday wear, gentler mineral options for reactive skin.

Two things people get wrong. You need roughly two finger-lengths for face and neck — most people use a third of that and get a third of the protection. And it goes on last, after moisturiser, as the final step of the morning. Non-negotiable if you use retinal, acids or vitamin C.
