VT Cosmetics: What Reedle Shot Actually Does
VT is the Reedle Shot brand, and Reedle Shot is unlike anything else on the shelf.
The mechanism
The formula contains micro-spicules — microscopic silica needles derived from marine sponge. As you massage it in, they create temporary micro-channels in the skin surface, so whatever follows absorbs further than it otherwise would.
This is a real delivery mechanism rather than marketing language, and it produces a genuinely odd sensation: a faint prickle for the first minute or so. That is the product working, not a reaction.
Who should not use it
This matters more than the benefits. If your barrier is currently compromised — stinging, red, over-exfoliated — do not start here. Micro-channels in already-damaged skin is the wrong idea.
Repair first at Centella & Cica or Ceramides, then come back.
The variants
PDRN for repair and firmness, cica for calming, vitamin for brightness. The choice is really about what you want carried deeper.
How to use it
On intact skin only. Not over active blemishes. Not on the same night as an acid or retinal — you are already increasing penetration, and stacking that with an active is how people over-treat without realising.
Start once or twice a week. Follow with a moisturiser.
